Blankets and Bells

Today's card is showcasing Power Poppy's Blankets and Bells.   I love the hint of a masculine image with the rich plaids yet feminine with the curly ribbon holding the bells.

The package has two digital images and four sentiments which gives you lots of options for your selection.  After sizing the blanket image to about 3 1/2" tall, I added one of the sentiments to the right.

I printed the image on 110# Neenah cardstock and then completed the coloring with my Copic markers.

I selected the buffalo plaid background paper,  a solid gray liner cardstock, and a darker gray 5 1/2" x 6" card base.  Then I die cut the image and solid gray with Pink & Main's Stitched Rectangles.

After securing the plaid to the card base, I decided to tilt the liner mat so that more of it showed on the card.  I secured both layers on top of the plaid.  For the final touch I added the three red enamel dots and also a white journal box inside for writing.   I really like how this one came out.
