I Thank God For You Every Day

 For the final 'wild card' in a Month of Holiday Cards on Beccy's Place, she asked us to create a card that brings us joy, something we love to do.

I love Copic coloring flowers and this morning I selected Beccy's Peony from August 2021.  I sized it 'off the page' and added the sentiment to the side so everything would be one layer for a quicker card.  

After matting on the olive with gold dots cardstock, I added the coordinating ribbon across the bottom and secured the covered button on the left corner to complete the design.

Making cards like this for friends and loved ones brings me joy and it is what I love to do.  My life is so blessed with many wonderful friends!  My God is so good to me Every Day!

Waiting on Santa Paws

 For my card for Alpha 'Z' in a Month of Holiday Cards on Beccy's Place, I've selected to make a Z-Fold card using the Basset from Dog Tales. 

What better way to end such a great month Alphabet Cards holiday cards with Beccy's images than with one by the fireplace waiting on Santa.  I met my personal goal of using her images for all the alphabet initial entrees, although I did use other manufacture images for second images and/or for the wild card challenges.

Also this is the last Alpha card - but there's still one more Wild Card left for the 30th day.  We're anxiously waiting to see what our last challenge will be for the games of 2024!

For my card for Alpha 'X' in a Month of Holiday Cards on Beccy's Place, I've selected this X-tra large Pup from her Holiday Hounds package. As you can tell from the dog's 'attitude' she believes she is X-tra special, sporting her X-tra large magenta girlie bow and enjoying all the x-tra attention of the season!  I'm sure she will be getting lots of XOXOs.

Never Stop Believing

For my card for Alpha 'V' in a Month of Holiday Cards on Beccy's Place, I've selected the Volkswagen Beetle from her Cruzin package.  I added the big bow from the "Birthday Gift" freebie and the wreath on the front is from her Berry Wreath.

While this one took a while to get things sized to the right proportions, I love how it turned out.  Plus I've always loved Volkswagens ~ I may just have to keep this one!

Very Vivacious!

I thought that I'd use this card for Non Traditional Christmas colors at some point this month in Beccy's Place a Month of Holiday Cards.  But with three of the four challenges already on the table, I'm going to play her 'Boxed Snowman' tonight as a Very Vivacious Snowman!

I do loved coloring with the Copic RV shades and mixed with the aquas of the BG family, always a great combo!

Wild Card Three Challenge

 For the third wild card, Beccy gave us 'Black/White and one color' in a Month of Holiday Cards on Beccy's Place. For this challenge I've selected Pine Forest.

This is one of Beccy's images shown under Freebies - then scroll down to find Nature / Scenery / Furniture. 

As you know I'm a Copic colorist and rarely do other mediums.  I know - I should branch out... but.  So this challenge is a bit difficult because one color with Copics is a range of colors.  I selected Shades of Gold as my one color to go with my Blacks to White shades in this card. 

I added the sunset background with the shades of gold and snowy ground cover to the this grayscale image.  After framing with the gold die and mounting on the card base, I added the falling snow on the trees using a white gel pen.  I hope my interpretation of this challenge is appealing and soothing.

The Magic of Christmas Never Ends

Today I'm posting with the All Dressed Up Digital Stamp Design Team as we share another round of inspiration with this month's new images.  I've selected Mistletoe Mouse and here's my completed card.

After coloring with Copic markers, I used the Gina Marie Lacey Layer Oval die as a Dome over the completed image.  Then die cut a straight edge oval out of the dark hunter green cardstock and mounted the image on the solid green.  After securing to the pine patterned background, I added the lighter green patterned strip across the bottom along with the embossed sentiment.  Next I secured this to the solid background and then to the card base.  I added the vintage chipboard button and tiny pearls on the mistletoe then completed the design with the addition of organza ribbon and bow at the fold.

*** On my Nov 11th Facebook posting I challenged my followers to look for the next card with Jim's Hat.  I had used it the first time on Nov 5th with the Elephant.  As you can see, TODAY this card has Jim's hat 3 times - slightly modified to fit the dog's heads!  Karle' B was the first follower to message me identifying the challenge.  She wins the Jim the Snowman card posted on Nov 11th.  Thanks for following closely Karle' and others!

Silver Bells

 For my second card for Alpha 'S' in a Month of Holiday Cards on Beccy's Place, I've selected Silver Bells.

I wanted this one to be all about the image, so the papers and embellishments are all muted blues, grays and silver.  The Silver Bells were Copic colored and after fussy cutting the image out, I raised it on fun foam, then added to the center of the card front.

Quietly Reflecting

 For my card for Alpha 'Q' in a Month of Holiday Cards on Beccy's Place, I've selected another freebie, this one from way back in November, 2011.  That month Beccy gave us Mum's Coat #188 and then Mum's Quilted Coat #189,  You see, she has always been such a sweet and giving artist!

 As hard as it is some days to get a photo of snow effects or sparkles, these little houses sure reflected quite well.  They were just QUICK cut outs from a paper pack.

Oval Ornament

 For my card for Alpha 'O' in a Month of Holiday Cards on Beccy's Place, I've selected Holly Bauble. This was made available digitally in November 2019.

In previous years I've used this design as Beccy designed it.  I cautiously stretched the perfectly round ornament for this design to make it an Oval Ornament.  While resizing digital image to fit our designs is what makes them fun to work with we also have to be respectful of the designers work if we make the slightest change.  If you're ever in doubt, contact the designer first! 

I also colored the ornament in  two shades of Pale Orange along with the leaves are done in Lime Green and Ocean Green .

 For my card for Alpha 'N' in a Month of Holiday Cards on Beccy's Place, I've selected Christmas Goose who of course happens to be sitting on a Nest. While this started in the early 16th century as an European tradition, I for one am glad the Turkeys are plentiful for our feasts at Thanksgiving!

I am using several New dies for some of the cards in this monthly challenge.  This one is Gina Marie Designs Eyelet Elegance Rectangles and I really love the lacy effect it brings to the cards.
