Spooky~
Good morning from the All Dressed Up Digital Design Team! Today 's the day for a new blog challenge to be posted and to see if you were a winner last month. I'll link you at the bottom of my blog.
For my Design card I selected 'Pumpkin Hat' and made a 'spooky' Halloween card with this adorable little girl and her cat.
After printing the image and coloring with Copic markers, I die cut the completed image with Gina Marie Designs Drop Pendant Die. I made a purple cardstock card base and added the fun plaid paper background,
Whimsy Stamps, Trees Assortment Die Set gives you lots of options for trees of all sizes. I used a dark gray sheet and cut the entire set, then just played around with the placement until I got this design I was happy with and secured to the card front. The 'Spooky' vertical sentiment I typed and printed here at home. I added a little gray ink around the edges before adding to the card front. Lastly I added three tiny tiny black flying bats up in the trees.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will visit the All Dressed Up challenge blog, see the other's design projects and add your ADU Image cards too!

Beautiful Day
Good morning! Today I'm posting with the Design Team from the Classic Design Challenge Blog as we open the new challenge for Sept/Oct. For this challenge we are giving you the 'Optional Twist' of Autumn Colors.
Our two awesome sponsors for this challenge are Goha Designs and Alex Syberia. For my Design Team card I selected Alex Syberia's Beautiful Day.
I love the depth of the flowers in this image which were easy to capture and highlight. The tiny bird in the center is a great focal point and this image could be used for many different events.
I used Copic markers for coloring and added a dusty rose floral patterned paper for the background matting. Next I was able to wrap the colored image with a thin gold thread and added a vintage gold button to ground them together. After mounting the background and image, I added the coordinating green strip across the bottom and the Happy Birthday sentiment.
I love how beautiful this card and design came out. I am especially proud as it celebrates my neighbor, Ms June's 91'st birthday!
Happy Birthday June!

Just a Girl Who Loves Hockey!
In my wonderful circle of girlfriends called 'Stamp Camp Girls', the youngest one still definitely has the energy and stamina for all the 'get up and go' activities!
Yet I think she still took most of our group by surprise when she sent the group photo from her National Hockey Competition!!!
Yet that is so Jackie! So full of energy and fun!
When I found this charm of a pair of hockey sticks, I knew they would be my inspiration for her birthday card!
For the A2 cardbase, I added the coordinating magenta cardstock, then secured each layer. I also added a piece of fun foam behind the sentiment to raise it and add depth to the card. Lastly I tied black yarn around the fold and put the hockey sticks charm in the knot.
Hope you have a Fun Filled Birthday Jackie!

Checkmate
When you have the honor of watching your first grandchild being born, which seems like just yesterday... it's hard to imagine he's turning 19 today!
But he is and I'm very proud of the young man he has become.
Sharing the chess board birthday card I sent to him for his special day.

Perfect Peace
Good morning and welcome to to my posting with he Design Team for Word Art Wednesday Challenge Weeks 766-767.
Our sponsor for this edition is Lawn Fawn who is also offering a $25.00 gift certificate.
Our featured scripture is from Isaiah, Chapter 26, verse 3. Remember you can download the beautifully calligraphy written version of this verse at the Word Art Wednesday blog site for use on your cards and future projects.
I didn't have any Lawn Fawn images that fit well with this scripture so I selected the 'Cattail' stamp from Northwoods Stamps.
I used Copic markers for coloring and then die cut the image and the sentiment with Spellbinders Fluted Classic Rectangle die set. I secured both pieces on a navy blue card base then added the two tiny strips of washi tape at the top and bottom of the sentiment box to complete the design.
Thanks for stopping by today . I hope you'll visit the Word Art Wednesday challenge to see the other Design Team cards and to enter your anything goes cards.

A Very Important Date
Today I'd like to share with you the card I am entering in the Moondrea Monthly Progressive Challenge. This is Andreia Silvia's 'White Rabbit' from her Fairytale Portrait Collection.
After printing the image of 'White Rabbit' I colored her using Copic markers and Wink of Stella. I used Pink Fresh's 'Ornate Banner Die set for the image and the background edges and Gina Marie's 'Drop Pendant' for the sentiment die cutting.
I cut the card base to coordinate with the darker shades in her hair and then secured each layer. Once everything was secure, I added a little Platinum Stickles around the clock faces and a bit of clear Wink of Stella on the pearl bracelets.
Thanks for stopping by today. Be sure to check out Moondrea Designs on Facebook or her Etsy site.

Packed and Ready to Go
Today I'm posting with the All Dressed Up Digital Stamp Design Team as we share another round of the new August release stamps. They are adorable as always ~ Mermaid and Fishes and Holiday Girl.
With all the summer travel and the upcoming back to school and college times, I selected 'Holiday Girl' for my Design Team card.
This image is another very tall girl so I laid her out on the left of the card image and printed the accessories on another area of the page. Then I reduced the accessories just about 1/8" to have a slight variation.
My 'first' idea and card was to have her pulling a rolling suitcase with her clothes and accessories peaking out. However, my suitcase image was overpowering so I found another plain suitcase that would work sitting open.
It was fun to color coordinate the two sets of clothes, fussy cut them out, and tucking them in and around the open suit case. But then I had a lot of white background - that's not going to work either.
I saw a similar background of the four seasons on one of the blog postings several weeks ago, and decided I'd try something along those lines. After dividing the space into four sections, I added background color with Copics and stamped a random seasonal stamp in each section and colored again using Copics. Lastly I added her floppy Hat and the sentiments raised it with fun foam. This Holiday Girl is ready to go no matter what the season!
Thanks for stopping by today. Hope you will check out the other design team cards on the ADU blog and join us in the challenge.

Pink and Main are our sponsors for this edition and are offering a $25 gift certificate to the winner.
Our featured scripture is Mark 11:22, which you can download for free on the Word Art Wednesday blog site.
Here's my Design Team card for today ~
I've selected Pink & Main's Puddles Boy for my image and colored him with Copic markers. Then I used another Pink & Main product; the frame for the image and the sentiment are their die set, Cloudy Frames.
They are layered as shown and secured on the blue cardstock ready to be mailed. Thanks so much for stopping by today.

Off the Beaten Path
This afternoon we are opening the next challenge for All Dressed Up Digital Stamps ~ #176 for August. For my Design Team project I selected Sandy Beach and made a generic fun summer card.
Just Humming By
Today I'm sharing a Hummingbird birthday card in celebration of 'another' Pam's birthday!
I used Sugar Pea Designs, Floral Pocket Tag package for the flowers and leaves. I wanted to make everything in the aqua green to blue to purple shades so I used two floral patterns and ran all the flowers and leaf dies through, then just layered them up!
I added a layer of felt foam behind the head and top wing of the hummer and positioned him as if his nose was right in the flowers! Then I added the pre stamped and embossed Happy Birthday sentiment at the bottom of the card base.
It still had too much white space for me so I added the lavender to light blue 1/4 inch organza ribbon at the fold and added the cross charm in the knot. Lastly I added Wink of Stella "Clear" on the head and tail wings of the hummingbird and she's ready to go.
Thanks for stopping by to see what I've been working on. Hope you have a blessed day!

Count Your Blessings
Good morning from the Design Team for the Classic Design Challenge. We're opening the August/September challenge today with two wonderful sponsors: Fred She Said and Sheepski Designs.
For my Design Team card I selected 'Emma in the Leaves' from Fred She Said and made a generic fall card.
I mounted the multi leaf patterned paper on a 5" x 7" brown card base, then added the image with aqua matting. Next I used a piece of scrap from the aqua matting to add behind the sentiment 'Count Your Blessings, and centered and secured it across the width of the image. Then for the final touch, I added the orange ribbon with a leave charm tied in the knot.
Thanks for stopping by today to see what I've been working on. I hope you will pop over to the Classic Design Challenge to see the other Design Team cards and to enter your cards for a chance to win!

Slow to Anger
Good morning! Today I am posting with the design team for the Word Art Wednesday blog site as we open Week #764-765.
Our lovely sponsor is Stamp Simply. I have used one of their older (discontinued) stamps called 'Thank You #33, Flourishes'.
Our featured scripture is from Proverbs 16:32, which you can of course download for your cards and projects from the Word Art Wednesday blog.
I stamped the larger flower, then went back with the smaller flower masking off the leaves to be able to place the stem and smaller flower in the right spot. Then I went back and added the smaller leaves. I used Copic markers for my coloring of the stamped images and have referenced them below.
When I was browsing the Stamp Simply website I noticed they sell a wide variety of other crafting supplies. One item was the Sizzix, Embossing Folder, 665735, Doily Texture Fades. I love the vintage look that folder brings with it. After flipping through my stash of pinks, I found one with a darker pattern on the side and used it in the Embossing folder. I inked the raised section using a 'Memento, "Sweet Plum" teardrop ink pad and trimmed close to the patterned edge.
Next I used Gina Marie Designs Looped Lace Rectangle dies for the completed flowers and for the selected scripture. I used a light pink 5 3/4" square card base and secured each layer as shown, adding a piece of foam sheeting under the scripture.
At the top I wrapped burgundy waxed thread around the flap and knot and covered the knot with Butterfly domed button from K&Company. Lastly I added three tiny flat back white pearls around the flowers for a bit of elegance.
Thanks for stopping by to see what I've been working on. Hope you will hop over to the Word Art Wednesday blogsite and download the free scripture from Proverbs, see the other Design Team cards and also enter your card for a chance to win the prize!
