Graciellie Design Sneak Peak ~ Pray

Guess who's having a birthday?
Gracie of Graciellie Designs is allowing us to give you a sneak peak of her new digi set designed especially for her celebration.

The new digi release will be on May 2nd and for those who love to color, you'll also be happy to know it also includes a second image of the little girl with her apron unshaded for you to color should you choose.   Be sure to check out Gracie's Etsy store using the link below, and look for the set PRAY on May 2nd.

For my sample card, the sentiments and the image of the girl, spoke to me of a prayer circle, praying with others and praying for others.  I love the reinforcing messages in this package of our ability to PRAY and didn't want to limit myself to using only one image.  I decided to make a Z-Fold card showing several girls together in prayer.  This design will be comforting to the receiver to know how much they are being prayed for - not by just one, but by many.
When closed, it fits perfectly in the envelope.
And opened shows three of the five sentiments included in this new release.

This is Gracie's first hand lettered stamp set which is simply beautiful!

Like all of Gracie's digital sets, there is so much versatility in her designs. Can't you just imagine all the many possibilities you can have for this package?  Click here to go to Graciellie Design's Etsy store.  Be sure to check on May 2nd to be able to pick up this new birthday set ~ Pray.

Again I'd like to thank Gracie for allowing me the honor of being her first guest designer on Graciellie Designs.  It's been a fun month and I have enjoyed my stay.  I hope that Graciellie Designs will continue to design Christian centered products.  For may we always give our God the glory in all that we do.

CCM Sketch Night

It's another Monday night sketch challenge on Christian Card Maker and my day has been filled with everything except card making.  But with a few images colored ahead of time, this is the CAS card I came up with in the last 20 minutes.

and the sketch we were given to follow ~
The Copic colored image is Garden Avery from the Paper Nest Dolls and is die cut with the Gina Marie Fish Tail Die.  The Happy Birthday stamp is by Hampton Arts.

Now even after a long day, I have an additional cute birthday card ready and spent a little time relaxing at my craft table.  Another good day!

Thank you for stopping by ~ May your evening be blessed.

April 23 ~ Lover Day!

Today's card sharing is featuring another Chrissy Armstrong design from Whimsy Stamps
Inspired by one of the Whimsy designer cards, my card is being used today for the Addicted to Card Making weekend Challenge of today, April 23 being Lover Day!

The stamped image was copic colored. My sentiment was done on the computer and added along with a washi tape banner and three mini brads to finish off the front of the card.  Since I used decorative scissors to trim the edges of each layer I was also able to make the card base match that design when it was completed and mounted to the top fold card base.

My wish for you today - Sunday - April 23 - is that as you take time to rest and worship our Lord Jesus Christ you will Love one another, and forgive those who you know you need to.  Be grateful for God unending LOVE and FORGIVENESS.
May today and your week be blessed!

Thanks for stopping by. I'd love for you to share with your friends.

He Is Our Peace and Our Salvation

Today I am sharing a couple of  additional cards I designed using
Graciellie Design's April release 'PEACE', in addition to the mid-month BLOG HOP!
This time I used two other beautiful sentiments from the
digital package, "He is our Peace and our Salvation" and "Peace begins with a smile".

Aren't these designs and sentiments perfect for the Easter season!
If you would like to learn how I made these, please read on ~

The bluebirds are busy building new homes here in South Carolina,

and I wanted this card to show  the deep blues and peach colors of the Blue Birds by using Copics B41, B45, B93, E02, E11, and C11.

Then I used Spellbinder label two dies  for the matting.
Additionally a deep red feather and soft pink flat back pearls were added to finish the card.
As we await the celebration of the Risen Savior, aren't we blessed in knowing He is Our Peace and our Salvation!

For my second card, I wanted to design a masculine or sympathy card using darker shades and the sentiment from Mother Teresa included in the new release package.

The bird is Copic colored with C3, Y35, andY38. and popped up with several sprigs of chocolate brown ferns.

If you haven't visited Graciellie's Designs to see this package or her others items, the link is below.  She has so many beautiful designs and each month continues to add more.

And as an additional BONUS, Wescott Products is offering a special prize for this blog hop! Two pair of precision scissors will be given away to one lucky person!

You must comment on EACH blog in the hop, including mine:

I have really enjoyed being the first guest designer for Graciellie Designs! What an additional blessing to work on this package which focused on Our Risen Savior, whom I serve daily.
As always ~ thank you for stopping by ~ Pam

One More Peep!

Thursday Night Scrap Night on Christian Card Maker....
Do we use up the scraps or just make more?

For the afternoon, I made several last minute little bunny cards.

These were made using the new Gina Marie Bunny Die and also her Pleated Rectangle Nesting Die. The sentiment is from CC Designs Spring Peeps and the finishing touch ~
Pearl tails are from Lori's Lovely Paper Crafts.

Happy Easter to YOU ~ YOU are one of my Favorite PEEPS too!
I'm so glad you are here. Share me with a friend!

Cherish the Children

Those of who follow my blog and know me personally, also know that I have had a photography business.  I just celebrated my 13 year anniversary and am so grateful that I am starting to obtain business here after my move last year.

Today's card goes along with the photo shoot that I did this week for a beautiful newborn boy.

Inside is stamped with the scripture

You are Inscribed in the palm of his Hand
Isaiah 49:15

This is a Unity image, with copic coloring and a sprinkling of sequins and olive green loopy bow around the sentiment
CHERISH

I know this young family is certainly Cherishing every moment with little Jacob  ~

In a blink of an eye he will be going to school, college, starting his own family.
Cherish each day and the abundant blessings that our Lord continues to bless us with.

Masculine Get Well Wishes

Today's featured card is again using one of my favorite
Gina K Design Dies, the Oval Burst, along with a couple of smaller stitched ovals for the center and sentiment.

For this design I ran the oval burst template through using Yellow, Green and Blue card stock.  Then used light tan scraps for the ovals.  The recipient is a mechanic so I selected a miscellaneous car stamp for the center and a appropriate sentiment of "Bless You" for the bottom oval.

I also wanted to use the Friday Fellowship Scripture from Christian Card Maker, as I felt it would add to the card and send the additional word of God.  I used the Spellbinders Label Two die to add cut and place the inked edged scripture on the inside top flap.

I hope today you will also be bless by this scripture from John 1:16
 shared on Christian Card Maker.

Thank you for stopping by. ~ May your day be blessed!

ATCM Weekend Challenge ~ Easter Card

I have been so busy and blessed with a great weekend, but it's about over with less than two hours till midnight!  Here I am scrambling to make an entry for the weekend challenge for Addicted to Card Making and to spend some time at my craft table.

For my Easter card entry I selected the Whimsy Wee Stamp BONNIE, designed by Sylvia Zet.

The image is stamped on Bright white Neenah card stock and copic colored using C1, C3, R20 for the bunny. E11, E13, E15 for the basket, G40 & 43 for the hat and banner and Y15 for the flowers.  BG10 was used for the background along with the C1 shadow and a yellow sparkle gel pen for the dots.

I hope you will be inspired to stamp out a few Easter cards to drop in the mail this week.  Thanks for stopping by.

Introducing Graciellie Design's PEACE

You can not begin to imagine my excitement when I was contacted by Gracie and asked to be her Guest Designer for the month of April.
What an honor to work with her new digital design set "PEACE"
and be a part of their Blog Hop!
I have enjoyed watching the
behind the scenes work from some of the very talented design team members.
I selected two cards today to showcase the bird in flight
each with a different scripture message.

These digital packages give you a great advantage to change the images to the sizes needed for the bird and scripture to fit the frames and dies that you want to use on your project.
This card is copic colored with Y38, Y35, Y18, Y32, E55 & E71 then die cut with a small scalloped oval and distressed with brown ink.  It is popped up on a brown die cut leaf stem and a gold foil doily trimmed to come to the edge of the bird cage border.  The scripture was reduced and then set in a chipboard oval painted with a gold paint pen and covered with clear Wink of Stella.

For the second card, I selected the Mathew 28:3 scripture to do a Easter themed card about our Risen Savior.  This is an important scripture to me personally, as many of you know I always sign my blog 'Serving a Risen Savior'.
To change the digital bird to the Southeastern Blue Bird, I used Copic markers B41, B45, B93, C11, E02, & E11.  I then used  Spellbinders Labels Two Nesting Dies and a small lace doily for the glossy blue bird to rest on.
The scripture verse is sandwiched between the layers and a real blue bird feather from my yard is also tucked in behind the scripture.
The card is finished with a peach loopy bow and metal cross charm.

This is a wonderful digital package with so many possibilities with the five sentiments that are included.  I know you have many ideas on how you can make your own special card and project using this new Graciellie Design Digital Stamp Set.  You can find this new set and all her products at her Etsy shop, Graciellie Design.
And now... on to the Blog Hop to see more inspiring use of digital products by Gracielle Designs AND a $15 gift certificate winner will be drawn from those who leave a comment on every blog, including this one!
