Celebrating the New Year!

And ALL the people said AMEN!!!  I think everyone is sure ready and praying for a better 2021.  However we each have events of the year that were blessings, some tiny and some larger than life itself!  Don't forget to stop during these first days of the new year and thank our Lord and Maker for giving us many more than we deserve.

I'm here today with Jan's Digital Stamp Design Team to share my January project card using her New Year's Eve package.

I sized the image and sentiment to about 3 3/4" square and colored it with my Copic markers. I used the Gina Marie Designs Double Stitched In/Out Cut Square die for the edge and also die cut a miscellaneous star border out of gold cardstock.  I covered the front of an A2 sized card base with a deep green sparkly paper, then added the colored image across the bottom third of the card front. Last I added the stars across the left corner to complete the card.

I know there weren't many gatherings to celebrate due to safety concerns this year...  It's so sad not to feel safe to be with our friends and celebrate life's events.  I do wish each of you a very Blessed 2021 full of lots of crafting time!

Thank you for stopping by today.  I enjoy sharing my work with you and invite you to “Follow” my blog and to visit my site ~ “Not Just Scraps” on Facebook ~ where you can purchase my cards.

I’ll be entering this card in the following challenges:

  1. Lovely card. I've already asked that the Lord bless this new year. He knows what is best and sometimes it's so hard for us to sit back and wait. [Bunny]
