Shake It Up!

Happy Monday from Jan's Digital Stamp Shop's Design Team!   It's a new month and a new challenge!

For my project card, I selected Jan's new image, Malt Shop.  This fun package is loaded with 9 colored images, 7 black/white images and 6 sentiments!

I wanted to make a shaker card for this month, so I selected the pair of milkshakes.

I sized them to about 2" x 2 1/2" and also pulled in the Malt Shop sign on another part of the page.  I printed those on Neenah 110# card stock and colored using my Copic markers.   I cut out the Malt Shop sign and put foam dots on the back, then set it aside.

I cut the double frames using Gina Marie Designs Wonky Stitched Rectangle dies.  I added foam tape to the back edges of the smaller frame and glued a piece of transparency to cover the open window.

I used a hot pink A2 card base to match the Malt Shop sign.  Next I added the larger wonky cut frame and the colored milkshakes (tilted slightly left).  I carefully put a small amount of colored sequin mix in the center of the image.  After peeling the paper off the foam tape, I added the top frame to the card base.  Lastly I added the popped up Malt Shop sign to the top right corner of the smaller frame.  Always go back and push down to secure all foam tape before trying out the shaker.

I hope you will check out Jan's Malt Shop package along with all the other wonderful images she has in the store.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I enjoy sharing my work with you and invite you to “Follow” my blog and to visit my site ~ “Not Just Scraps” on Facebook ~ where you can purchase my cards and other crafting items.

I’ll be entering this card in the following challenges:
