The 5" x 7" card base is black cardstock and I selected the brown speckled pattern to resemble the sand, tearing the top edge and inking with brown ink. The water patterned paper is secured at the top then the sand paper is overlapped and secured at the bottom. After adding the completed image in the center of the sand area, I stamped the 'Praise Him In The Storm' sentiment under the starfish image to complete the design.
The more light that shines on the metallic image the brighter and reflective it is. What a great analogy of God's light in us as the more we are filled with his Spirit the brighter our light shines for Him.
I would also like to give layout credit to Unity Designer Julissa Sargo who inspired me with her card.

What a beautiful and unique card Pam. The metallic paints on the image are stunning, and I love your beach/sea background and a wonderful sentiment.
