Today's birthday card was made for one of my 'hometown' girlfriends using Pinkfresh Studio's Folk Hummingbird stamp set.
After stamping the image, I used my Copic markers for coloring. I stamped the sentiment using Monarch Versa Clair ink, and then used the My Favorite Things, Elegant Rectangle Stax die for cutting the decorative edge. I used Copic B06 to ink the die cut edge on the completed image.
I covered the A2 card base with the purple polka dot embossed card stock, then secured the image slightly to the right of center. I added the blue organza ribbon the side fold and then secured the wooden 'love' heart on top of the knot to complete the design.

ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty card for your friend - I'm sure she will love it. I do adore hummingbirds which we sadly dont have here in the UK but I was lucky enough to see them in Colorado years ago.
