All Is Calm

Today I would like to share the card I am entering in this month's Unity {show & tell} Texture Challenge.  For this challenge, I've selected Angie Blom's You are My Blessing.

Here's my completed card, then a few things about how I made it.

I started by stenciling the background with Echo Park's Silent Night 6 x 6 Stencil and Faded Jeans Distress Oxide.  Next I stamped the angel image and used my Copic markers for coloring.  I used the Gina Marie Design Pierced Nested Label Die (discontinued) for the edge after completing the coloring.  

The A2 sized card base is covered with a navy blue cardstock.  I randomly placed three white die cut snowflakes and then secured the colored image in the center of the card base.  For the final touch I added small white pearls on her wings ~ also from Gina Marie Designs.
