Fairy Hugs

Today's featured card is a commissioned Valentine card for a six year old little girl.  I selected Poppy Stamps Valentine Fairies knowing she loves all things that sparkle.

 

After stamping the fairies and heart on an A2 sized card front, I used my Copic markers to color each image.  Then I stamped the sentiments using red Versa Claire Red ink.  I used Pink & Main's Stitched Rectangles for the colored image.

Next I used Memory Box's Wrapped Scalloped Rectangle die set for the diagonal stripped mat edging. I secured the matting to the standard A2 sized white card base, then added the colored image at an angle to add character and to complete the card.
