As card makers we never seem to have enough cards ready when it comes to sympathy cards. I think if you are like me, you are almost afraid to make too many. It seems if you make them ahead, you have a need to use them immediately. So I hesitate to make them, until I absolutely have to.
Then I turn to my favorite stamps ~ All My Florals... and believe me, I have a LOT of florals.
For today's card, I'm sharing one I made for one of the sweet ladies from my church that recently went to heaven. One of the photos that I saw showed her with all her children and many, many grand and great grand children. I know there were many Tears and Smiles during her passing and as they fondly celebrate her beautiful life.
I used Unity Stamp Company's I Shall Not Want by Artist, Graciellie Design for this card and started by stamping it on Neenah 110# card stock. I colored the flowers using Copic markers E93, E95, and E97. For the leaves I used Copic YG61 and YG63 and did the muted shadow work with Copic G20. For the decorative edging on the various mats, I used the Gina Marie Designs Wonky Stitched Die (rectangle) & (square). After assembling all the layers, I added the organza ribbon and the cross in at the knot.

I do, however, feel that receiving this one will be a tremendous blessing and encouragement - knowing it comes from the heart means so much. Thanks for sharing this lovely card in our challenge. I do hope that there is much comfort found in your card and the words you write. Have a blessed week, and please join us again soon.
