CAS ~ Decking the Halls

Just when we thought 'Z' was next, Beccy's Place challenge throws out the CAS card curve ball!   But we all knew a couple of 'other' cards would be needed to get us to the 30 days.  I don't know about you, but I'm enjoying every one of the challenges!

For my Clean and Simple card, I've selected Angie Blom's Decking for the Holidays digital package.  One of the single ornaments in this set is perfect for this style card.

I sized the ornament to just under 4" tall and colored it with two shades of Copics, which are referenced below.

Next I used the Tattered Lace Hemstitch die for the stitched ragged edges.  I secured the image on a white card base measuring about 4 1/2" square.   Lastly I added diamond Stickles to the center of the snowflakes and set it aside to dry.

Thank you for stopping by today to view my blog. I enjoy sharing my work with you and invite you to 'Follow' my blog and to visit my site - "Not Just Scraps' on Facebook - where you can purchase my cards.

I will be entering this card in the following challenges:

  5. Absolutely beautiful Pam! Your CAS design is wonderful and you really did a great job colouring the bauble. I love the colour combo. The glitter is a great addition, and the die cut image panel looks fantastic.
    Cheers,
    Beccy
