Hope you are having a very relaxing day of worship today. I'm popping in to share my letter 'R' card for the 30 Day Christmas Card Challenge on Beccy's Place.
I've selected this stunning RED cardinal from the Hero Arts clear stamp set, Holiday Cardinals. This one came from my friends online craft store ~ Scrapsalot, LLC. Check out her site for some amazing products!
I used the largest stamp in the set which has the cardinal on the beautiful green wreath. After stamping the image and the sentiment separately, I used Copic markers for coloring.
The decorative edge on the image was done using Spellbinders, Labels 15 and the sentiment tag was done using a small double fishtail die.
The card base is 5" square covered in a dark green cardstock with the green patterned paper secured on top. I added the colored image to the top left and angled the sentiment across the bottom right edge. The tag needed a little something to make it pop, so I added the red polka dotted mini washi tape strip under it to complete the card design.
Thank you for stopping by today to view my blog. I enjoy sharing
my work with you and invite you to 'Follow' my blog and to visit my site -

A gorgeous image Pam, the red cardinal nestled in the green foliage is perfect for Christmas, the colours are very festive. The paper and cardstock work well together and I like the addition of the washi tape too.
