I am so excited about the upcoming Christmas season! I've enjoyed making my cards a little along all year and the closer it gets the more I like it!
I've always been a follower of Mo's Digital Pencil images and love many of her images that are available with Penny Black Stamps. This little elf has got to be one of the most PRECIOUS yet! Meet 'Harry Elf' with his Christmas presents. Isn't he adorable!
To make this card, I sized the image to just under 4" tall and added the sentiment on the next layer. All the coloring has been completed using Copic markers.
The 'torn look' edge on the top and bottom of each layer came from using Tattered Lace Paper Tears Centre. The card base is 6" square made out of heavy gray cardstock. Then the background paper was cut 1/2" smaller and secured in the center. Next the liner mat - olive colored and finally the colored image are secured to the center of the card.
For the finishing touch I added a narrow red ribbon at the top fold and tied a Christmas Tree charm in at the knot.
