Christmas Joy

For today's Christmas card, I'm featuring Fairy Holly from Penny Black, Inc.  

I love this image because it focuses on the true meaning of Christmas.  I love how the artist, Mo Manning has added the beautiful church inside the snow globe. 

As with a lot of Penny Black's stamps, this is a large image and of course that makes it fun to color with my Copics.

I've stamped her on Neenah 110 # cardstock and used somewhat non-traditional colors.  When completed, I returned the image to my Misti and added the beautiful sentiment stamp using Versa Clare Blue Belle ink. 

The detailed edging really adds to the image and was done with the Tattered Lace, Beaded Chain Nesting Square die.  I used a 6" white card base and added the coordinating dark blue background paper.  Next I secured the colored image in the center of the card to complete my design.
