Always A Reason To Dance

Today's posting is another little peak at part of the Fall Retreat last month.  I'm trying to squeeze all the different events of the three days in between the new release stamps, dies, holiday events and of course National Card Making Day on Saturday.

In this posting I'd like to show you the BEFORE and AFTER of one of the Goodie Bag items.  Remember the theme was Music of the 50's with a sock hop, Cafe' type set up.  The goodie 'bag' was actually a large plastic popcorn bucket filled with penny candy, an RC Cola with a moon pie tied to it, a fantastic sheet of stickers that depicted the 50s cartoon characters... and among other things... these large stitched tags (Gina Marie Designs) - Unity stamps Jukebox Jive and  How's it Rollin'.

With my passion for card making and needing a group card for this past Friday night - I took my Jukebox tag out and turned it into a fun card one of the guys surprise birthday party.  This design could easily be changed to a card for a gal buy just changing the papers.

So when you are given a tag - don't trash it just because you may not collect tags - turn it into a card or embellishment for a scrapbook - or the other way around - need a tag?  Use that card you held on to last month and make that tag you need for the gift this weekend.

Addition ~ Somehow this photo was omitted in the original posting this morning ~ One of the ladies took on the decorations for this retreat and did an awesome job with the photo booth.  I wanted to be sure to include it in today's blog!

Thanks for stopping by and allowing me to show you the before and after today.  Your comments are always welcome.

Serving a Risen Savior,
Pam
