Recipe Swap ~ Bread

As I've mentioned earlier, my card swap group is doing a year long project of one recipe swap per month. The object is not only to share the recipe, but to decorate the card for your partner. Today I'm sharing my recipe card for March in the Bread & Pasta category.

This is fast becoming my favorite swap because of the level of challenge you can make it.  From a simple recipe and a sticker or two to an elaborate creation... it's just a lot of fun and a challenge.  If you're like me, I have found I'm seeking characters that will work for this project also (like I need more images?).

The image I've used for this month's card came from The Paper Shelter and is named Pizza Chef

After typing my recipe into a 4" x 6" area and printing, I added the 1" strip of black and white checkered card stock across the top.  Separately, I sized the Pizza Chef to fit in the open space and printed him on Neenah 110# card stock.  Copic markers were used to color and are referenced below.  I fussy cut him out after coloring and added him to the recipe card ~ ready to send to my partner.

Thank you for stopping by today to view my blog.  I enjoy sharing my work with you and invite you to “Follow” my blog and to visit my site ~ “Not Just Scraps” on Facebook ~ where you can purchase my cards.

I’ll be entering this card in the following challenges:

Watercooler ~ Challenge #312
