Good Morning! Today I'm here with the Colour Crazy Challenge Design Team to bring you inspirational cards from this month's sponsor, Jan's Digi Stamp Shop.
For my card, I selected her Botanical Orchids. I have an orchid plant that a special friend gave me last year and I enjoy it every day. These delicate flowers come in so many colors, which allows you to use the image in several ways, especially with the SEVEN sentiments that also are included.
For this card, I layered the sentiment close to the main image, in front of the longer stems. I sized to fit an A2 card base and printed it on Neenah 110# card stock. I used Copic markers for coloring and the Penny Black Elegant Stitching for the edges. At this point I decided not enough of the green mat was showing using the A2 card base. So I switched to the 5 1/2" square deep pink card base, and altered my layout. I added the olive enamel dots and a double looped bow to finish the card.
I hope you will go over to the Colour Crazy Challenge blog (week 18) to see the other Design Team cards and add your card for a chance at winning.
Thank you for stopping by today. I enjoy sharing my work with you and invite you to “Follow” my blog and to visit my site ~ “Not JustScraps” on Facebook ~ where you can purchase my cards and other crafting items.
I’ll be entering this card in the following challenges:
