While on vacation this past weekend, I joined in with my crafting buddy to spend a little over an hour in a Zoom Room with several of our Whimsy Stamp girlfriends. Today I'd like to show you the card I created.
I selected Dustin Pike's Get Well clear stamp set. Here's my completed card and a few details.
I decided to add to my personal challenge and stamped the image on Kraft (which I never use). Although the colors are muted when using Kraft, I was still able to make it light enough to be acceptable.
I didn't have a die cutting machine with me, so both the image shape and the white stitched frame were from my bits and pieces box. I selected the stitched frame for my texture. I matched the orange coloring to a patterned paper and added that to the yellow card base. Then I added a solid purple washi with the yellow stitched thin washi on each side. Next I added the image and the frame, then popped up the wonky shaped 'Got Soup?'.
It's always fun to see friends you've been blessed with along your life's path. Zoom is pretty neat ~ we sure wouldn't have thought we'd be using that several years ago to craft with friends.
Thank you for stopping by today. I enjoy sharing my work
with you and invite you to “Follow” my blog and to visit my site ~ “Not JustScraps” on Facebook ~ where you can purchase my cards and other crafting items.
I’ll be entering this card in the following challenges:

What a fun and gorgeous get well card Pam - I never thought I would ever attend church on Zoom either! In fact only months ago I didn't even really know what zoom was!

strange times... I also got to know zoom only a few weeks ago and now love "meeting" friends there.
ReplyDeleteYour card is very funny! And I like your colouring on craft paper as well.
