Today I'm here with Jan's Digi Stamp Shop for our mid-month posting. Be sure to visit Jan's Blog Challenge to see all the Design Team inspirational cards and to enter your cards in the challenge.
I selected one of Jan's new sets, A Boy and His Dog for my card today. I seriously love this sentiment.
Here's my completed card, then a little about it.
After sizing the image to fit an A2 card base, I printed it on Neenah 110# card stock and used Copic markers for coloring. I think using E34 for the final skin color adds a rich caramel color for Afro American skin.
For my die cut, I selected My Favorite Things, Elegant Rectangle Stax and used that for the image, sentiment and both mats. A simple thread tied bow completes my card.
Thank you for stopping by today. I enjoy sharing my work
with you and invite you to “Follow” my blog and to visit my site ~ “Not JustScraps” on Facebook ~ where you can purchase my cards and other crafting items.
I’ll be entering this card in the following challenges:

Pam, your coloring is exquisite, especially his dark hair! Love the die shapes you chose and that twine is perfect on a masculine card. So glad you're part of our team. :-D
