We're starting off the week knowing today is going to be Amazing, as I share one of the August new Digital release images AND celebrate my daughter's 34th Birthday!
Of course, it was easy to select the Whimsy Stamps Western Pony for her special card since she has loved horses most of her life. Being able to use the digital image gave me the addition freedom to size the image to be slightly larger to make a nice size top fold card for her to display.
Here's the finished card and a few details afterwards.
After printing the digital image and Copic coloring, I offset cut the image with a circle die and mounted it on a 5 1/4" square hunter green matting paper. I used a stitched deep scalloped die to make the top border and two sizes of the Gina Marie's Fish Tail Banner Dies to make the sentiment banner. The sentiment stamp is by Unity Stamp Company. For the finishing touches I used a bit of brown twine and a metal feather charm wrapped around the sentiment banner and a few dots of gold bling. All of the elements were then glued down to the 5 1/2" Kraft card base, ready for today's delivery.
