Oh have I got a super cute card to show you today!
This is one of the cards from the Whimsy Stamps 3rd Annual Retreat that I attended in June. With the abundance of wonderful projects, there was just not any way to complete them all! Design Team member Melissa Andrew led the demonstration for this Chibitronics card.... yes, that was a new word for me!
Here is my finished card and a few details about the project following the photo.
There are several youtube videos on this card technique, which is quite detailed. We were extremely fortunate to have Melissa not only walking us through each step, but giving us extra tips from her experiences ~ like doubling the vellum for the sunshine, and using three layers of foam to build the housing around the battery and make the card even from top to bottom.
In addition to using Whimsy Stamps' Elisabeth Bell's Seashell Girl image, we also used Whimsy's Copper Tape, and their Chibitronics White LED Mega Pack (30 Stickers).
