Morgan La Fay ~

Good afternoon from the Creative Team for Morgan's ArtWorld.  The October Challenge Blog is now open for you to see all the Design Team creative cards AND to enter your cards into the challenge.

This month I picked Morgan's image named "Morgan La Fay" for my Design Team card.  I always think of the romance series of books with images like this one.  Wouldn't she be a perfect book cover!

Morgan can sure capture the wildness through their eyes and long flowing hair.  They are really fun to color!

For today's card, I sized  the full image to about 3" x 4 1/2".  After printing on Neenah 110# cardstock, I used my Copic markers for coloring.  I just received a new Tattered Lace die called Paper Tear Centre, which is what I used with a textured deep aqua green paper.

I used the lighter aqua green shade in her outfit to match the cardstock I used for the card base.  I cut this to a standard A2 size with a side fold.  I added the dark mat and image to the card base, tilting them slightly to the left.  I also added several tiny dots of gold Stickles to her outfit. To finish the card I added a coordinating rust colored organza ribbon at the fold and then tied an enamel 'together' tag at the knot.

Thank you for stopping by today to view my blog. I enjoy sharing my work with you and invite you to 'Follow' my blog and to visit my site - "Not Just Scraps' on Facebook - where you can purchase my cards.
