Next I took an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of white cardstock and folded it in half (at 5 1/2") to make the card base. I used one die smaller than the die I had used for the matting and cut the card base, allowing ~ 1/4" of the die to extend past the fold. This gave me the oval shaped card base to use. I secured the card front onto the base, making sure none of the base was showing around the edge. Then I added the three tiny diamond dots randomly around the image to complete my card.
