To Cheer You!

I hope you are enjoying your Sunday afternoon and maybe have had some time with your family today.  We're out for the day celebrating my Dad's birthday ~ so be sure to pop in later this week to see his special card. 

But today I'm joining my Design Team ladies from the Corrosive Challenge Blog for the last time as I am leaving the team.  This was my first international design team and I've enjoyed the wide variety of images.  

This month our sponsors are LeeAnn's World and Fred She Said.  I've selected 'Wee Hummingbird and Petunias from Fred She Said for my Design Team Project card. 

 If you know me at all, you know it was no doubt that I'd pick the image with the hummingbird as they are one of my favorites and my logo also.  This tiny baby hummingbird was no exception! 

After printing the image I used my Copic markers for coloring (referenced below).  When completed, I hand stamped the sentiment from Stampendous 'From My Heart' clear stamp set.

Next I used a cosmetic brush and Quick Quotes 'Royal Blue' Chalking Ink  along with a cloud stencil to give the colored image some light puffy clouds.   I used the Gina Marie Designs ' Label Three' for die cutting the edge of both the image and the lavender matting paper.   I mounted these layers on my standard A2 sized card base then made the lavender dotted organza bow and added it to the card for the final touch.
