The Queen's Sister

Welcome to a new month with the Corrosive Challenge Blog (#8) and our new sponsors ~ Fabrika Fantasy & Oddball Art.

For my project card today I've selected one of Fabrika Fantasy's coloring books ~ Fantasy Ball.  From there I have made my card using The Queen's Sister.  She reminds me of some of the novels of fabulous masquerade parties and romance novels we love to read about.

I sized the image to about 4" square and printed on Neenah 110# cardstock.  I used my Copic markers for coloring and stayed with shades of Purple and Green with a hint of gold for the accents.

When completed, I made a black frame for her using the largest die in the  Spellbinder Adorning Squares Die set. This made the inside cut of the frame; then I cut the square frame outside to measure 5".  Next I used the smallest die and made the square that is holding the sentiment.  I used a 1 1/2" circle die to cut the white circle and stamped it with "Wish" from a miscellaneous set.   After securing the circle to the smaller square, I added the image, frame and sentiment square to a 5 1/2" white card base with the fold at the top to complete my card.

Thank you for stopping by today to view my blog.  I enjoy sharing my work with you and invite you to “Follow” my blog and to visit my site ~ “Not Just Scraps” on Facebook ~ where you can purchase my cards.
