Just a Girl Who Loves Cows

Happy Monday Morning!  I'm starting the week off with the FREE Stamp of the month from 'Imagine That Digital Stamps'. That's right ~ Free ~ just for making a card using their image and blogging about it, you get the following months stamp of the month image free!  What an amazing deal!  Check out all those details HERE on their challenge blog.

For August - the stamp of the month is Pretty Calf.

Here's my completed card.

I sized the cute baby calf to about 3" tall and added the sentiment to the right, then printed it on Neenah 110# cardstock.  After coloring with my Copic markers, I used the Unity Cloud stencil and a makeup brush with Quick Quotes Buttercup chalking ink to make the light yellow clouds in the background.  

Next after matching the patterned paper, I used the Gina Marie Designs Labels 3 die set for the decorative edge for both the image and the patterned paper matting.  A piece of brown twine was used to wrap the left edge of the image and then I secured it to the patterned paper.  I used a yellow A2 sized card base, and secured the matting and then the completed image.
