You're the Best Catch

Yesterday, November 15, 2020, marked the sixth wedding anniversary for my daughter and son-in-law.  Today I'd like to share with you the cute little card I made for their special day.

I selected Penny Black's Good Catch clear stamp set and used the bears on a picnic image.  Here's the completed card.

I stamped the image on Neenah 110# card stock and used my Copic markers for coloring.  I used the Gina Marie Studded Heart dies for both the image and the red card base.  If you look closely, you can see that I folded the red card stock and positioned the larger die off the top edge so the fold wasn't cut.  This allowed the card to stay 'together' at the top and still fit in a standard A2 sized envelope.  After adhering the colored image to the card base, I also die cut three additional smaller red hearts and randomly glued them to the front of the card.

Wishing them many more happy years ahead!

Thank you for stopping by today.  I enjoy sharing my work with you and invite you to “Follow” my blog and to visit my site ~ “Not Just Scraps” on Facebook ~ where you can purchase my cards.
