Well it's sort of a secret ~ about today's card.
You see I was asked to design today's card for someone's Secret Sister. Her and her husband celebrated 40 years of marriage last week. Yep, they deserve a special card, don't they!
This couple love their horses dearly, so my instructions were ~ A horse card, with one or more horses...and oh, can you make them look like their horses? Simple right?
Well if I was an artist it would have been simple, but I'm not. But I was able to see them on their horses on Facebook- Appaloosa's and very beautiful.
After several attempts of finding the right image, I finally settled on this one.
I used my Copic markers for coloring and blending. I added a solid black mat and mounted the colored image on a grey piece of barn board. I added a pair of silver boot charms on the black twine bow.
