I am writing this blog posting, yet another huge thunder storm system is about to arrive here. I almost titled this blog Rain, Rain, Go Away!
However I wanted to share a cheerful rainy day card of encouragement with you today.
I used a very old rain background die, cut out of a blue/gray paper and a brighter blue background paper mounted to the card base. This cute little chick dancing in the rain is from Simon Says, Showers and Flowers set. I used my Copic markers and fussy cut around the completed image. I used a red crochet thread for the weaving and bow and added the sentiment from the same stamp set.
Thank you for stopping by today. I enjoy sharing my work with you and invite you to “Follow” my blog and to visit my site ~ “Not JustScraps” on Facebook ~ where you can purchase my cards and other crafting items.
I’ll be entering this card in the following challenges:
Serving a Risen Savior,
What a gorgeous and fun card Pam - love the die cut and the sweet chick. We are finally getting a couple of fine days after a week or so of rain - only a few days though! Autumn has arrived late, but with vengeance here!ReplyDelete
