A Birthday to Remember

Today is my friend Barbara's birthday and I'd like to share with you the card I made for her.

I decided this was a Birthday to Remember and I wanted her card to reflect the lighter side of our very serious virus and self quarantine.  I selected Sherri Baldy's 'Freebie' I Got You TP.  I mean seriously - how many birthdays will you ever have where the rush to buy Toilet Paper seems to be the daily focus!

This cutie is a digital stamp image, so after downloading I sized her to fit my A2 card front. I used Copic markers for coloring and then Memory Box's Wrapped Scalloped Rectangle dies for both the image and the patterned mat.  I mounted these on a coordinating pink card base.  The Hello Beautiful sentiment is from Unity Stamp Company.  To complete the card I added a white organza double bow around the top flap.

Thank you for stopping by today.  I enjoy sharing my work with you and invite you to “Follow” my blog and to visit my site ~ “Not Just Scraps” on Facebook ~ where you can purchase my cards and other crafting items.

I’ll be entering this card in the following challenges:

Serving a Risen Savior,
Pam

  2. Fabulously beautiful! I like that you used a digi and were able to manipulate it to your other tools -- the die cuts. I've been doing the same. Isn't that fun?! Lovely layout. Gret work Pam.
