I am totally excited today!!! ~
After making my second Kinetic slider card using Whimsy's new dies and NOT having to refer to the instructional video or any instructions at all, I know that YOU will LOVE these new dies and the endless possibilities of card designs they bring for you to try out!
Earlier this month Designer Crissy Armstrong released with Whimsy Stamps four animal stamps to be used as sliders with the new Kinetic dies. Today, February 21st in the at 12 noon, a special release from Whimsy is being distributed featuring several of these animals showing different design ideas by some of the Whimsy Digital Design Team. My card is below, in the 'home' and in the 'second' position, showing you how this Copic colored Tiger is sliding that glittered football right over the goal line to make a touch down for a great birthday card!
I hope you will CLICK the highlighted areas to link back to the Whimsy Stamp site and purchase the Tiger or one of the other great slider animals and the Kinetic die sets - give them a try! I don't think you will have any regrets and you will be turning out some really great Slider cards in a matter of just an little bit!
So here's my Totally Tiger-Rific card in the home position ~
And you notice you can not see any holes like the old style slider... you simply pull the slider tab on the left - straight out -
and the Tiger slides forward pushing the glittered football over the goal line to make a touch down!
Being from South Carolina ~ home of the Clemson University Tigers, this image would especially be a hit for card makers around my area!
The digital image for the Sliding Tiger can be found by clicking Here. I used the No-See Kinetic Basic Die Set and the Kinetic Curved Basic Die Set.
Jennifer Dove worked with Whimsy on designing the Kinetic dies and did a great YouTube video/tutorial that will get you started your first time around. Here is the link to that video:

Brilliant way to use a kinetic die! Love it 💜
ReplyDeleteOMWord. This is a masterpiece. Plus your coloring and positioning of the tiger is GR.....EAT !
ReplyDeleteAlso I was going to say, I had to enlarge the tiger, your coloring, I thought it was a resin tiger. How you get all that dimension is amazing
DeleteThank you Linda ~ he is on the larger size - Crissy Armstrong did an amazing job designing him ~ he's a great one for Copic shading.
