Today I'm sharing a birthday card I made for my friend Marianne. We both share a love for roses and water coloring. This 'Always Flowers' from Dina Wakley seemed like the perfect one just for her birthday celebration.
The embossed image was water colored then fussy cut super close to the edges. I used the Gina Marie Designs Lacey Layers Oval die set to make the black background matting and added it to the dark pink card base mat.
Before adding the rose to the card base, I added several pieces of foam adhesive behind the leaves and the open flower. I secured the flower in the center, then added the Happy Birthday stamped sentiment at the bottom right corner.
Happy Birthday Marianne ~
Hope your day is super special!
Thanks for stopping by to see what I've been coloring and painting. Stop in anytime!

Lovely card Pam. The colouring on the flower matches the sketchy vibe of that stamp. Thanks for joining us at AAA Birthday - Tristan (DT)
