Friendship

Today I am posting with the Word Art Wednesday Design Team as the challenge blog for Weeks #752-753 is now open.  For this challenge our sponsor is Pink Posh Pretty who is offering a $30 gift certificate to the random winner!  

Our scripture focus is on Luke 6:38 and this scripture is available for a free download by simply going to the Word Art Wednesday blog site and right clicking on the scripture image and saving to your hard drive.  You are welcome to use featured scripture on your future cards and other projects. 

For my card today, I've used Whimsy Stamps ~ 'Friendship is the Greatest Gift' and added the featured scripture from Luke 6:38.

 The image was stamped and colored with Copic markers then die cut using Quickutz Nesting Frame 8.  The selected scripture was printed then both were matted with burgundy cardstock, and die cut with the same set. 

Using a 5" x 6" top fold card base, I added the pink floral background paper first.  Then I secured the two matted pieces to the card front, staggering them slightly. I added several strips of washi tape across the top and a few randomly placed enamel dots to fill in some of the open spaces.  This completed my card design.
