A Little Bit of BOO!

Although this past weekend was very full of other life events, I did find a little time to enjoy the activities hosted by Whimsy Stamp Company for National Cardmaking Day.  I'll always consider that company as my starting point in my Copic coloring journey with their Silvia Zet images.  The instructions I have received over the years from their retreats have been priceless!  I can only hope that someday soon they will be able to start having those again.  

I did grab the limited time images and enjoyed watching artist Crissy Armstrong color her Halloween Cat.  Although nothing compared to her magical abilities, I've made today's card using that image. 

For my card, after completing the Copic coloring I used the Distressed Oxides and the Cracked Web stencil from Polka Dot Orchard for the background.  I printed the 'BOO!' on the same background paper as the mat behind the colored image.

I've used a top fold Kraft card base that measures 5 1/2" wide by 6" tall.  The bottom layer is covered with the large circle patterned paper, then the matted colored image is added and secured on top.  Lastly I added the black yarn type twine around the fold and made a single loop bow.
