Wine & a Freebie

Today I thought I'd share a light hearted card that I recently made for someone very special who was going through some medical issues.  She certainly wasn't 'whining' over her problems, on the contrary, she really was keeping things within.  When we're going through life's valleys it's a good reminder to know we have family and friends that we can lean on and open up to.  True friends never feel burdened when you share your concerns.

This image is a free image from Google and I did the sentiment on my computer to fit the design.  I've colored it using various Copic markers and matted with a rust colored cardstock paper.  Both layers were then mounted on a standard A2 size card base to complete the card.

Thank you for stopping by today to view my blog.  I enjoy sharing my work with you and invite you to “Follow” my blog and to visit my site ~ “Not Just Scraps” on Facebook ~ where you can purchase my cards.

I’ll be entering this card in the following challenges:

  3. I love it and I love the image. They don’t have stamp stores or stationary stores here, I even end up using dried palm leaves and put in them through my old old old cuddle bug and they make awesome fences for cards lol so I love seeing your work. Hugs Cathy K
