Always Take the Scenic Route

I'm here today with the Colour Crazy Challenge blog and Dr. Digi House of Stamps as our sponsor.

For my featured card, I'm using Ambrose King of the Road.

I sized the image to about 4" square and printed on Neenah 110# cardstock.  I've colored this with my Copic markers, which are referenced below.

The decorative edges on the image and mat are done with Gina Marie Designs Nesting Labels Six.  I used a 'map' patterned paper for the background and made the card base 5 1/2"  x 6", side fold.

After securing all the layers, I added the sentiment from Stamping Bella, Adventure Sentiments, which I had trimmed to an arrow shape.  It is also matted in the olive paper like the image.  For the finishing touch, I added Glossy Accents to the headlights and then the metal stop sign in the top left corner.

I hope you'll stop by the Colour Crazy Challenge blog to see the other Design Team cards and to enter yours also.

Thank you for stopping by today to view my blog.  I enjoy sharing my work with you and invite you to “Follow” my blog and to visit my site ~ “Not Just Scraps” on Facebook ~ where you can purchase my cards.
