My birthday was last week and one of the
special presents that I received was
a Heartfelt Creations card making class
from my Daddy!
Well....yes he had a little helper telling
him how much I would like this....
The event was hosted by the The Stamping Place in
Columbia, SC. They have a sweet store tucked
quietly away on the west side of the city ~ well worth
a stop if you are in this area and only a few
miles for the airport!
Ready to get started....
with one of my card making sisters, Jennie.
Heartfelt's Instructor, Joel, led the group through making
two peacock cards and one owl card.
Each made with layers of embossed
and inked vellum and completed
with glitter and prills.
The owl was my favorite as the cage and branch
actually attach to the front of the card oval.
Now it's back home to see if we can practice
what we learned.
Thanks Dad for a great birthday gift!
Thanks for stopping by ~ Pam

ReplyDeleteHappy belated birthday, Pam! Your cards are gorgeous. I was able to take a class from Heartfelt Creations when I attended the scrapbook expo in Sacramento. They were so organized, we were able to make 3 cards in the hour-long class. It sure did go by quickly.
