Thou Art Worthy, O Lord

Today I am posting with the Word Art Wednesday Design Team as Week # 750-751 edition opens.  Our Sponsor for this challenge is Stamp Simply, who is offering a $25 gift certificate to the winner.

We are featuring scripture from Revelations 4:11 this time.  Remember to visit the Word Art Wednesday blog to download your free scripture to use on your cards and future projects.

I have used the flower image Sunflower Season from Stamp Simply to make this double tag card.

After stamping the sunflower on watercolor paper, I used the Gina Marie Designs Arched Stitched Tags to die cut it into a tag shape.  I also die cut the next die size up using brown cardstock for the matting paper.

I colored the image with Copic markers and then used a yellow and orange mixture of watercolor paints to fill in the background.

The printed scripture sentiment fit nicely on one of the smaller tag dies in the same set.  I also cut the next size die with brown cardstock for a matching mat.

For the card base, I used a 5 1/2" dark brown base and added a beautiful floral print from 49 & Market.  I added the jeweled brad to the tag and then secured it on the left side of the card front.  Next I added a sheet of foam behind the sentiment tag. and the brown brad.  Before adding to the card, I slid several pieces of die cut greenery behind the flower tag, then secured the scripture tag horizontally over the edge of the flower tag and the die cut leaves.  I love that this patterned paper picks up the exact colors used in the flower.

Thank you for stopping by today.  Don't forget to enter your cards on the Word Art Wednesday blog and download the featured scripture too.
