DIY Enamel Flat Back Embellishments

Here's another do it yourself project ~

You can easily make your own flat black enamel for your cards.

Craft Beads (or sometimes called Pony Tail Beads)
can be found at your craft store, Walmart or sometimes
like this bucket...at the thrift store for $1.

Line your largest cookie sheet with parchment paper and set the beads up across the pan.  Don't let them touch - give them about 1/2" spacing between each one.
Bake in a 400 degree oven for ~12 minutes.

These are the glow in the dark kind
(like we are going to take our cards in the dark to see if they glow!)

They cool almost immediately and slide right off allowing you to reuse the parchment paper for the next batch.

Thank you for stopping by my blog ~ Pam

  2. Hey, Pam, do you lay them with the hole up or on their side with the round up? Just wanted to check before I give this a whirl and ruin the whole dang batch. :)
