Today I'm sharing a sympathy card I recently made using Altenew's, Scalloped Flowers 3D Embossing Folders.
Today I'm sharing a special guy's birthday card who turned 40 yesterday! It blows my mind that my nephew has reached this milestone age.
He's a great musician so I selected this old hound dog Phil from Beccy's Place, All That Jazz.
After coloring I added a couple of shades of distressed oxides around the image and stenciled music notes using a stencil from Creative Works. Of course the die cut '40' was the final touch for the card front.
Inside I found a banner die that fit the sentiment while allowing it to have a little flair across the card. Always fun to use some of our supplies that we've had a while.

Recently I purchased the Bird and Blossom digital set from Beccy's Place. As soon as I started coloring the flowers I loved the set even more!
So.. I made three instead of one!
This one I did in shades of red and added the loopy gold thread behind the birthday sentiment.
Classic Design Challenge for December with our sponsor Sheepski Designs. Our optional theme is Winter Fun for this month's challenge.
For my project card, I selected their Snowmen Selfies Image Number 100.
This was a fabulous image to color with my Copic markers. I used Spellbinder, A2 Fancy Postage Edge Die for the decorative edge. I used a 5" x 6" card base and covered the front with the blue snowflake paper. Then I die cut just the end of the same die with pink cardstock and secured it over the 'white space' above the image. Lastly I added the Happy Birthday fishtail tag in the pink area and added a tiny blue bling dot to complete the card design.

Sheepski Designs, Snowman Selfie
Being still and allowing time for our body to heal is one of the hardest things we have to do. While today's medicine continues to take our pain away and mend our broken bones, we still need to allow time for true healing.
Today's card is one I recently made for a friend recovering from hip replacement surgery. I used the 'With All My Love' digital package by Angie Blom. *** I've attached an example of one of the layout pages in this package ~ ready to print 4 card fronts without any editing!

Today I'm sending out loads of Happy Birthday Wishes to my friend Bonnie G. I met this sweet young lady at a crafting retreat and loved her beautiful work, especially the project time that she led. Although I don't know Bonnie outside those four days, she is the type gal you want to stay connected to, such a sweet soul.
For her card I have used Angie Blom's Digital Full Bloom Peonies.

Sympathy cards are always tough, but Angie Blom's 'With All My Love' gave me several choices.
For this card I selected the image that has four preprinted images. This is always a nice option to have in digital packages when the artist designs multiple card fronts for you.
I used Copic markers for the coloring and tried to keep my shades bright and cheerful. It's double matted and secured it to a yellow card base. No ribbon for this one, nothing to take away from the image.
