Tee-rrific Day!

Today I'd like to share the Father's Day card I made for my son.   Although he works continuously even after a long day at work, every once in a while he will take the time to go play a round of golf.

I selected House Mouse, Golf Ball and Tees to make his card.



 

I sized the image for a 5" square card base, then layered under it to type in the sentiment 'Have a TEE-rrific Father's day!'  

After printing, I used Copic markers for the coloring which of course is the fun part!  I selected a solid blue for the image mat and a blue plaid for the background mat. I used Quickutz Nesting Frames 8 for all three layers and secured them together as shown.  I then added them to the center of the 5" Kraft card base making sure I had the fold on the left (personal choice).  Lastly I added the blue twine at the fold and the three random knots to make the webbing.
