Hang In There, Friend

Today I'm posting with the Classic Design Challenge Blog  team as we open the June challenge.  Our sponsors this month are Mirtillamente Craft Shop and Di's Digital Designs.  

For my design project I selected Swing High Mouse  from Di's Digital Designs and made this card of encouragement.

 

To make this card, I sized the image for an A2 sized card layered the image into the digital background print.  I used Copic markers to color the mouse image then trimmed the image using Pink & Main Stitched Rectangle Dies. 

For the background of the card base, I added the striped paper and the green solid strip.  Then I added the completed image slightly overlapping the edge.  I added a strip of fun foam behind the sentiment strip and then secured it to the bottom of the image.  Lastly I added the navy ribbon at the fold and knotted it at the top.
