You Are Uniquely Original

Today I'm posting with the All Dressed Up Digital Stamp Design Team as we're sharing another round of the new images for June.  For my Design Team card I've used 'Wash Day' and made a Congratulations Baby card using an easel design.

 

I started by sizing the Wash Day image to about 4" tall and printing her on Neenah cardstock.  I also duplicated the teddy bear part of the image and enlarged it in a separate area of the page.  I duplicated the dresses also and printed the pink one again on a patterned paper, and paper pieced it in after highlighting the shadows.  I used Copic markers for the coloring, which are referenced at the end of my posting.   I added the green rolling hills and the sunrise behind the image and then trimmed the edges and also cut a navy mat 1/4" larger. 

I also colored the extra bear and fussy cut her out.  I stamped the sentiment and also trimmed it close to the stamped edge.  After folding the cardstock for the easel base, I cut the navy cardstock to fit the bottom base and then cut the polka dotted patterned paper 1/4" smaller.  After adding the image and navy matting to the top fold of the easel, I lightly marked where the pop up needed to be placed.  I added a double strip of foam tape across the back of the sentiment pendant and glued the bear to the edge, then secured both to the card front. 

What an adorable card this turned out to be!
