 Today it's a new month for 2 Crafty Critter Crazies and our sponsor for February is Beccys Place.  

For my project card, I've selected one of the adorable turtle images from her Slow Lane digital stamp set.  When you look at that pack of three images, I know you will agree that it was very hard to pick only one!  They each have their own unique character and so many options for your cards or other crafting projects. 

Here's my completed card and a few notes on how I made this one.

I sized the turtle image to about 3 3/4" tall x 1 3/4" wide, printed him on Neenah 110# cardstock and colored using my Copic markers.  I did the sentiment on the computer and printed it on standard cardstock. 

For the card base, I selected a 12 x 12 deep red cardstock, which I cut in half (6" x 12") and positioned for a side fold.  For the edging dies, I used Carnation Crafts, Pretty Shabby Square Labels which was great for this card's wild jungle look.  For the dark green jungle leaves I used the Hero Arts Jungle Frame Die and snipped selected pieces from that to fit around the edge of the card.
