You can not begin to imagine my excitement when I was contacted by Gracie and asked to be her Guest Designer for the month of April.
What an honor to work with her new digital design set "PEACE"
and be a part of their Blog Hop!
I have enjoyed watching the
behind the scenes work from some of the very talented design team members.
I selected two cards today to showcase the bird in flight
each with a different scripture message.
These digital packages give you a great advantage to change the images to the sizes needed for the bird and scripture to fit the frames and dies that you want to use on your project.
This card is copic colored with Y38, Y35, Y18, Y32, E55 & E71 then die cut with a small scalloped oval and distressed with brown ink. It is popped up on a brown die cut leaf stem and a gold foil doily trimmed to come to the edge of the bird cage border. The scripture was reduced and then set in a chipboard oval painted with a gold paint pen and covered with clear Wink of Stella.
For the second card, I selected the Mathew 28:3 scripture to do a Easter themed card about our Risen Savior. This is an important scripture to me personally, as many of you know I always sign my blog 'Serving a Risen Savior'.
To change the digital bird to the Southeastern Blue Bird, I used Copic markers B41, B45, B93, C11, E02, & E11. I then used Spellbinders Labels Two Nesting Dies and a small lace doily for the glossy blue bird to rest on.
The scripture verse is sandwiched between the layers and a real blue bird feather from my yard is also tucked in behind the scripture.
The card is finished with a peach loopy bow and metal cross charm.
This is a wonderful digital package with so many possibilities with the five sentiments that are included. I know you have many ideas on how you can make your own special card and project using this new Graciellie Design Digital Stamp Set. You can find this new set and all her products at her Etsy shop, Graciellie Design.
And now... on to the Blog Hop to see more inspiring use of digital products by Gracielle Designs AND a $15 gift certificate winner will be drawn from those who leave a comment on every blog, including this one!
