During March, Polkadoodles Crafting gave away this cute Easter Chick image on the Kit and Clowder Facebook site. Today I'm sharing the Shaker Card that I put together using the free image.
For the background I cut the patterned paper to 4 x 5 and added the solid purple vertical strip. Then I secured the little image to the center of the background.
Using a 4 1/2" x 5 " cellophane bag, I placed the completed image on the background piece inside the bag then added a heaping teaspoon of candy sprinkles on top of the image. Next, seal the bag at the top then fold any excess on the sides, to the back and secure with washi tape. Once all sides are tightly secured, then I used two sided tape and secured the 'shaker bag' to the front of the card base. How's that for an EASY Shaker card!!!
Thank you for stopping by today to view my blog. I enjoy sharing
my work with you and invite you to 'Follow' my blog and to visit my site -
"Not Just Scraps' on Facebook
- where you can purchase my cards.
I will be entering this card in the following challenges:
The Crafting Challenge ~ Option Easter
Dream Valley ~ Challenge 291 ~ Any Celebration
Pam's Pearls
What a great way to make a shaker card Pam - what a gorgeous image and I love the way you have contrasted it against the purple
