Today we're kicking off a new week at the Colour Crazy Challenge Blog with our sponsor Ching-Chou Kuik. I've selected their Hummingbird image for my card.
I've used my Copic markers for coloring and then fussy cut around this beautiful design. The sentiment was stamped on a strip using one from the Simon Says, Handwritten Greetings set.
Next I made the yellow cardstock card base - 5" x 6" and covered the front with a magenta metallic paper. I secured the stamped sentiment strip across the bottom of the metallic paper and added the colored image at the top allowing the bird's tail to gracefully fall over the sentiment.
Thank you for stopping by today to view my blog. I enjoy sharing my work with you and invite you to “Follow” my blog and to visit my site ~ “Not Just Scraps” on Facebook ~ where you can purchase my cards.

what a lovely card, the tail does look good just overhanging the sentiment. Thanks for joining us at Creative Knockouts
ReplyDeleteA gorgeous card Pam - love how you have coloured the gorgeous image and then trimmed it so it was out of the square. The metallic background is perfect.
