Happy Monday and Good Luck Wishes for the month of March!
I'm here today with Jan's Digital Stamp Shop's Design Team as we kick off March with lots of Shamrock Wishes!
For my card today, I've colored the image with Copic markers and then made a standard shaker card filled with lots of green clovers.
St. Patrick used the shamrock to explain the holy trinity with each leaf representing the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. The three leaves of a shamrock are also said to stand for faith, hope and love. A fourth leaf is where we get the luck from.
Jan has designed this package with the banner 'open' so that you can add your own greetings. Wow! I love that feature.
I've used Spellbinder's Scalloped Edge Frame die for the top frame on my shaker card and a coordinating solid green cardstock matting around the image.
Be sure to check out all the Design Team cards today on Jan's March Challenge and be sure to enter yours also!

ReplyDeleteMy daughter educated me this week about St. Patrick - where he came from, what he stood for, etc. What a fascinating story! This is wonderful, and I agree: So great that the banner has been left blank, for you to add whatever you like to it. Thanks for sharing this with us at The Paper Shelter!
