Loosing a loved one is hard, especially during the holidays. Today's card is one of Unity's series of 12 flowers of the months by Holly Hoffman with an appropriate sentiment for a sympathy card.
This is 'Border of Holly'.
After stamping, I used my Copic markers for coloring and then trimmed closed to the completed image. I added a solid burgundy mat that is about 1/8" larger than the image.
The card base is a standard A2 size, covered with the red dotted background paper. The sentiment came from my bits and pieces box and was already die cut. I secured the matted holly to the bottom of the card base and then added the sentiment just above that and over to the right side. To complete the card, I added a simple knotted white organza ribbon.
Changing the sentiment would lend this card to be used for many different needs or occasions.
